Swiss luxury watchmaker Hublot presents its new flax composite watch series at the prestigious watch fair Baselworld in Basel. The case and dial of the new Big Bang Tutti Frutti Linen collection are made by high quality Swiss flax composite material co-developed by Hublot and Bcomp. Light yet strong, linen is an ethical and sustainable symbol of elegance.
A couple of days before, the composites faire JEC World was held in Paris. Bcomp had a strong presence with several customers displaying new products featuring ampliTex™ fabrics, such as the surf brands NSP and Brunotti. Furthermore, Bcomp presented a lightweight automotive interior door panel reinforced with powerRibs™, cutting 40% weight when compared to today’s commercial technology.
