In the light of future challenges that lie ahead of Bcomp during its rapid scale-up and growth phase and following the closing of an oversubscribed Series B, the company welcomes new members to its Board of Directors.
Taking it to the next level
More than ten years into this journey of sustainable lightweighting, Bcomp is further from slowing down than ever. The additional funding that was collected in the recently closed Series B round will support the company’s hyper-growth and allow Bcomp to scale its workforce, increase its global and domestic production capacity and strengthen its commercial footprint. These next steps bring a whole new set of challenges. Accordingly, the Board of Directors is evolving with new members and competences joining and some old friends stepping down. Coming from different backgrounds they will all be able to contribute their extensive experience and support Bcomp in this exciting phase.
We extend a warm welcome to our new Board Members Bart ten Brink, Tobias Duschl and Marcus Behrendt, and are looking forward to a great future together. At the same time, we are happy to announce that Christian Jaag – who has been a Member of the Board since 2021 – has newly assumed the role as Chairman of the Board. Bcomp’s co-founder and CEO Christian Fischer also holds a seat on the Board.
We extend our sincere thanks to the former Board Members Daniel Kallay, Georg Benes and Thomas Rauber for their invaluable support over the years and for playing an important part of our journey so far!
